Dominican republic plz
This was my first trip to Dominican Republic in 2021. Absolutely beautiful! We arrived in Santo Domingo and drove three hours North to the El Limón area. On the way up there, we pulled over on the side of the road so Jnr could fly his drone near a huge cave that overlooked the water and mountains. The drone dropped and fell in the trees. He started to climb down this mountain. I was absolutely on the verge of crying from how steep this mountain was but fortunately, he got his drone and came back up. He did end up touching some sort of poison ivy which was not a fun time for him.
I bought this hat in Mexico a few months before going on this trip. I wore it through the airport and got so many compliments lol. I found a few similar ones, totally worth having an oversized hat, especially on vacation so incase your SPF starts to fail you, you have protection.
The place in D.R. we rented was so beautiful. It was right on the beach. The one day I got in the water, I was laying on Jnr’s back and put my hands under his stomach. My hand went a little bit under the sand and a crab pinched my left thumb. I screamed so damn loud and started flailing around my arms. I jumped up and still kept screaming. In the moment it was terrifying but also hilarious and it really really HURT. When I flung my hand around, the crab went flying but the claw ended up staying pinched on my finger. Now, La’Tecia, who was on the trip with us, gets me crab jewelry and crab headbands. Crabs don’t play around, they have those strong ass grips.
