“If you hold back on the emotions--if you don't allow yourself to go all the way through them--you can never get to being detached, you're too busy being afraid. You're afraid of the pain, you're afraid of the grief. You're afraid of the vulnerability that loving entails. But by throwing yourself into these emotions, by allowing yourself to dive in, all the way, over your heard even, you experience them fully and completely. The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and to let it come in. There are a few rules I know to be true about love: If you don't respect the other person, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. If you don't know how to compromise, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. If you can't talk openly about what goes on between you, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. And if you don't have a common set of values in life, you're gonna have a lot of trouble. Your values must be alike." -Morrie Schwartz
Ahhh. Valentine's Day. A day where I act like I don't care if I get a present but secretly do and if I don't I get pissed. haha j/k j/k. I want presents every day, not just Valentine's. The second best part of Valentine's Day is the color scheme. Pink or red, I love them both equally. The first best is obviously the candy. Tip: the day after Valentine's Day will have all the good candy 75% off, just saying. My favorite look from this mood board is the red suit on the top right. Still fits the occasion even though it's not your typical date dress. If anyone asks, on Valentine's Day I'll be home, skyping my best friend, eating a tub of ice cream. j/k...I'll be depositing checks. The 15th you'll find me at every Walgreens and Rite Aid clearing out the discounted candy.
